Preliminary numerical study on dielectric mixtures under lightning impulse conditions

Numerical simulations on a simple particle-in-a-box system were performed to determine the properties of the mixture under non-sinusoidal fields. Impulse wave form was used in the simulations and different particles were employed. A new representation is proposed for the finite element method simulations.
