Verify the number of soda bottles in the casket by using computer vision

This paper proposed a system for check the number of soda bottles by using webcam camera. We used edge detection for pre-process and then use cross correlation as template matching to define the bottles and check the number of soda bottles. If we find the missing bottle in the casket, we reject it by PLC controller.
