Do EE careers suffer from poor management?

This is the concluding article in the Spectrum series of six on engineering work environments and the bench-level and managing engineers that work in them. Four companies - manufacturers of computers, semiconductors, military equipment, and consumer products and referred to in previous articles as Companies A through D. respectively - were the focus of the study. Alt were guaranteed anonymity in exchange for granting Spectrum permission to interview and observe their employees at work.
