Spectral lines: The anonymity of mice and men

You may recall Spectrum's Amazing Micro-Mouse Maze Contest. It was conceived in late 1976 and announced in May 1977. The objective was to build a thinking mouse, one that could find its way through a maze, the configuration of which had been kept secret until race time, learn through its mistakes and, in subsequent runs, solvethe mazewithout error.
