Temperature coefficients of elastic constants of trigonal, hexagonal, and tetragonal crystals

Temperature coefficients of elastic constants (TC

) for trigonal, hexagonal, and tetragonal crystals have been obtained. The TC
_IJ
of several trigonal, hexagonal, and tetragonal crystals have been calculated and compared with known experimental data. The nature of the anomalous TC
₆₆
of quartz has been discussed in detail.
