Architectural Design of Distributed Control Systems for Aero Gas Turbine Engines Using Genetic Algorithms

This work presents a method for the design of distributed control systems for large civil jet engines using a genetic algorithm. The algorithm evaluates solutions based on three evaluation functions designed to ensure the proposed systems are both technically and commercially viable.
