Modern science and technology overturn of chemical industry and low carbon economy

The proposal, concept and essence of the low-carbon economy are briefly described in this article. The development and current situation of low-carbon economy is expounded in detail from three aspects of the background of low-carbon economy, the four stages of the development of the world's greenhouse gas emission reduction activities (the subscription of “the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change”, “Kyoto Protocol”, “Bali Road Map” and “Copenhagen”), and the world development trend of low-carbon economy. Then from which the chemical industry is the relation in the revolution of science and technology, the chemical industry plays an important role in low-carbon economy and other aspects, the relationships between the modern technological revolution, the chemical industry technological revolution and the development of low-carbon economy are in further discussion.
