Development of electronic engineering education at the National University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe

This paper seeks to describe the development of a University BEng(Hons) Degree program in Southern Africa. The background to the creation of the University is first considered, followed by an overall view of the program structure. Selected aspects, such as industrial placements, nonengineering skills and computer engineering, are examined in more detail.
