Abandonment of the patient

Those of us in the United States who have devoted our lives to ensuring quality care to patients and families, and the patients and families who rely on the health care system, face momentous issues. I briefly outline what I consider to be the most critical of these issues. These issues include health care economics, technology and government policies.
