A New Multilayered Common-Mode Filter Based on LTCC

This paper has described a new multilayered common-mode filter, with the helical structure inductors and “Z-shape” structure. The CMF provides excellent performance, the noise attenuation is large and the signal insertion loss is low. Especially, the CMF is most effective on meeting the EMI regulation of high speed USB 2.0 and IEEE 1394 interface circuit.
