Dependence of Magnetoresistance and Magnetic Properties on the Deposition Conditions and Temperature in Ni-Co-Fe Alloy Thin Films

The magnetoresistance effect and magnetic properties of Ni-Co-Fe thin films prepared under various deposition conditions were studied. An anisotropic magnetoresistivity ratio of above 5% was obtained. The value of ρ
_av
depends on the substrate temperature and film thickness, but Δρ does not. Both ρ
_av
and Δρ were measured as functions of temperature; the results showed that the temperature dependence of ρ
_av
is quite similar to that of the MR ratio.
