Grounding for Process Control Computers and Distributed Control Systems: The National Electrical Code and Present Grounding Practice

As part of a panel discussion, the relationship of the National Electrical Code to the installation of process control computers and distributed control systems is covered. The various design requests of the manufacturers with respect to grounding will be presented. Field installation practices will be discussed.
