Ultra Low Power 16K CMOS RAM

With the increase of the bit capacity of CMOS RAM, the increase of active power becomes serious problem. Recently to reduce power dissipation, various circuit techniques have been proposed.[l[21 In this paper, ultra low power 16K CMOS RAM using the divided word line structure with double alminum metalization process and the address transition detect circuit with the new sense amp will be described.
