Super Self-Aligned Bipolar Technology

High speed silicon bipolar LSI technology is the fastest practical LSI technology used today. It is responsible for developing very high speed LSIs which are used for all high speed systems, such as main frame computers, electronic switching systems and large capacity optical fiber cable transmission systems. Several high speed bipolar LSI technologies have been reported (1),(2),(3) which were developed using a novel circuit design, device structure and process technology.
