Nonlinear NanoOptics

This paper reviews the progress in implementing several new configurations to obtain a more flexible nonlinear optical interaction. In particular, this work reviews the experimental work on weak localization in nonlinear random media, second harmonic generation in the neighborhood of metallic nano particles, second harmonic from the high bands in opal structures, and second harmonic generation from the whispering gallery modes of microresonators.
