A Solution to Bias Oscillations in Microwave Transistors

This paper addresses termination-dependent low-frequency bias oscillations which have been long-standing problems in microwave transistor measurement and circuit design. Origins of and solutions for two kinds of oscillations are presented: inductance-related oscillations, which can occur in any microwave transistor, and low-frequency oscillations which occur with bipolar transistors.
