Error Analysis of Econometric Load Forecasting Models

A technique for the statistical analyses of errors in the forecasts produced by econometric forecasting models is described and applied to a realistic model for annual electric energy sales. The technique considers uncertainties in the model parameters as well as in the exogenous (input) variables.
