SF6 Gas Insulated Load Interrupting Switches With Fusing

This paper discusses the design and testing of an SF6, gas insulated load interrupting switch which has multiposition capability. The multiposition capability is achieved through the use of rotary switching contacts which allow a wide variety of switching arrangements within one enclosure.
