New Electrodes for Partial Discharge Endurance Tests

This communication describes two kinds of electrode systems, newly developed for partial discharge endurance life tests. These methods give much smaller standard deviations than other cavity discharge methods. They are characterized by their open cavity structure in which the gas can remain the same during an experiment.
