Automatic Nonduplication Protection Using an Audio Envelope Correlator

A system is described to implement the FCC's nonduplication rule which requires deletion from cable television systems of network programming material which would duplicate the programming of a local TV station. A correlation device is used to compare aural program material from two TV stations.
