MDT-new designs, architecture and latest advances

The next generation of mobile data terminals (MDT) can incorporate a combination of modern packaging techniques, microcomputer hardware and software environments, and system architecture technologies. The authors explore a practical mixture of these advances as applied in MDT products and systems based on land-mobile radio.
