Guide for installation of 50-300 kVA uninterruptible power systems (UPS)

The authors discuss a one module UPS (uninterruptible power system) installation standard which covers the range from 50 to 300 kVA. Special attention has been paid to mechanical requirements, security and services of the rooms dedicated to the UPS and battery, refrigeration, electromagnetic interference, grounding system, differential switch protections, mechanical by-pass, impulse protections and harmonic current filters.<
