Generalization of Monopoli's error augmentation and an application

A frequently used adaptive control signal processing technique often called error augmentation is generalized. A broader class of adaptive control structures is now allowed. As an illustration, a sensitivity- and robustness-specifying structure is given that requires the generalization.<
