Monitoring and controlling distributed applications using Lomita

A high-level language and its runtime environment for monitoring and controlling distributed applications is presented. The syntax and semantics of the language is briefly explained, and then a complete example is given. In this example, Lomita is used to construct a distributed, load adapting service from a single non-distributed server prototype.<
