Re-recording in overwrite recording (re-recording mechanism by contact printing model)

The re-recording mechanism making a deep dip is introduced using a newly developed contact printing model. The originally recorded signal can be transferred onto the adjacent recording signal area by the bias effect of the adjacent signals' magnetic flux. This model is confirmed by experiments such as 180 degrees phase difference of residual signal after and before the dip.<
