Radiation tolerant techniques of multiplexing analogue signals in a nuclear environment

Two types of multiplexers are described. They are designed to be used in high gamma radiation environments. Multiplexed signals come from different sensors used for distance, angle or force measurement. A low switching rate (10 Hz) version is designed with RS flip-flop based only on relays and transistors. The high switching rate multiplexer consists of a transistor differential stage to control the transistor chopper. Its maximum switching rate is Pounds MHz.<
