Measuring the shape of the mouth using structured light

The authors have shown that colour coded light is a powerful tool for the determination of three-dimensional dental structure. The necessary algorithms for determining shape from colour coded light are described and a photography is given showing the reconstructed region which has been artificially lit by the computer and superimposed on the original image.<
