A high Q directional filter channel combiner at J band

A high Q dual mode directional filter constructed with TE114 circular waveguide cavities has been described. Some of the practical design problems have been outlined together with the particular solutions implemented. The example described here is viewed as a general approach offering a number of advantages for systems currently being developed where a flexible multi-channel combiner is a central feature.<
