Self-developing materials for holographic recording

The authors reports on a new photopolymerizable formulation which suppresses in part, if not completely, some 'intrinsic' deficiencies. The most attractive feature of this material is its 'self-developing character', i.e. its ability to record holograms elements by a single-step photochemical process: a permanent record is obtained directly through imagewise exposure of the sensitive layer to the actinic radiation conveying holographic information.<
