Holographic television by liquid crystal device

The authors make the holographic fringe pattern for moving object on TV camera, transform the hologram pattern to electrical signal and transmit it within the TV frequency band, then display the hologram fringe pattern on the liquid crystal device (LCD) and reconstruct the 3-D image. The characteristics of this system are considered. The possibility of holographic television is examined.<
