A note on Bach's low-pass active RC filter

A procedure for noniterative functional tuning of Bach's low-pass filter is presented. A modification of the filter circuit is also proposed which reduces the spread of the resistive elements, with equal capacitor values, from Q

. Experimental results are given which agree closely with the theoretical predictions.
