An optimal topology design algorithm for multiple traffic using both dialed up and rented capacities

An optimal multitraffic topology design algorithm is presented. It is used to find the optimal topology with respect to a set of input traffic patterns when the operating budget is fixed. The long-haul trunks are assumed to be rented from a carrier in a continuously rented or dialed-up manner. A numerical example is given.<
