Optimum Ship Operation: Experiences with it & Consequences from it for Building and Driving Research Vessels

There seems to be a good chance that owner and/or operator of research vessels can take advantage of experiences that the author could collect on commercial vessels. The latter such as freighters and tankers and ferries cover certain distances within certain times and from their money revenue per mission drive home a certain rest: the gain. On the freighters this gain can be optimized -along comprehensiveness on matter envolved and rigour of principles therein. It is shipbuilding,engine building,maintenance,nautics,vessel's physical environment, economics and logistics that meet: each of the seven a professional field in itsself. It is the artificial intelligence of most modern electronic tools (measuring and computing) that spans through them successfully.
