Transistor pulse circuits for 160-Mc clock rates

PULSE RECENERATION consists of performing three distinct operations. (1) The dc level of the pulse train must be restored so that pulse recognition is possible. (2) The regenerator output should be of relatively constant amplitude despite input pulse variations. (3) The pulse should be retimed so that they occur accurately in specific time slots. This paper describes transistor circuits capable of performing these operations at bit rate of 160 mc.
