Phase coherency measurements on ATS-6 L-band emissions

The phase difference between two receivers was measured as a function of their spatial separation up to a maximum of 800 ft. The ATS-6
L
-band emission was used in the experiment. Phase fluctuations appear uncorrelated at the large baselines.
