Quasi-Static Characteristics of Coplanar Waveguide on a Sapphire Substrate with its Optical Axis Inclined

A variational expression is presented for the line capacitance of a coplanar waveguide on a single-crystal sapphire substrate with a tilted optical axis. Numerical results are obtained by means of the Ritz procedure.
