On the inversion of 2-D systems

The local state 2-D model of Givone-Roesser is considered together with the equivalent 1-D wave advance process. Selected aspects of the 1-D system inverse literature are applied to the 1-D state model. Implications for the design of 2-D system inverses are developed.
