Digital light deflector with prisms and polarization switch based on the Pockels effect with transverse field

An in-line eight-stage digital light deflector is described. The polarization switch is similar to a birefringence-compensated transverse modular, which has a practical angular aperture of 10°. The birefringent elements are single prisms.
