Abstract:
The era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 makes student need to improve competencies to compete competitively in any situation. Increasing competence can be seen from student learning behavior. One of the factors that influence learning behavior is students' belief in their self-efficacy. The focus of this study aims to predict that the source of self-efficacy is a learning behavior factor based on the perceptions of IT students at Syarif Hidayatullah University Jakarta. The research method used in this research is exploratory quantitative. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling with a total sample of 397 respondents distributed through an online survey and using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS Ver 24. The results showed that the sources of self-efficacy and self-efficacy were suspected as factors of IT student learning behavior because a significant positive effect partially and simultaneously on learning behaviour. Vicarious experiences are the variables that have the most dominant influence on learning behavior. This finding confirms that the source of self-efficacy is one of the core factors for designing learning behavior models. Lifelong learning in improving IT competence is a must, and perseverance is indeed a critical identity that must be attached to everyone, especially IT students in facing the IR 4.0 and this research supports previous research on similar topics.
