Partial k-space reconstruction for magnetic resonance angiography by selective inversion recovery

The authors report their experience in selective-inversion-recovery vessel imaging with signals approaching a pure free-induction decay. Such acquisitions permit a shorter echo time and reduce the amount of flow-dependent phase shifts. The application of a partial k-space algorithm prevents distortion and spatial resolution loss that would arise with a conventional 2-D reconstruction.<
