The Inversion of Material Parameters Based on FFT Twofold Subspace-Based Optimization Method

The inversion of material parameters has gradually become a research hot topic in the field of microwave and terahertz technology. This paper aims to solve the inversion of material parameters, which is the actual application of microwave imaging. The FFT Twofold Subspace-Based Optimization Method (FFT-TSOM), which was proposed by Zhong Yu and Xudong Chen, is a kind of microwave imaging method with good performance. Firstly, this paper summarizes the permittivity selection of scatterers in many literatures, and then FFT-TSOM is used as the inversion algorithm to compare the performance for the imaging of scatterers with larger real and larger imaginary parts. The limitations of the algorithms can be seen. Finally, prospects and directions for future work are discussed.
