Notes on shaft gables and their installation

The contributions to the proceedings of this Institute by the members who have given us the benefit of their great experience will, I am sure, be welcomed by all members of the profession in every part of the world. There are, I think, one or two points which require elucidation, unless we can accept the statement that the conditions on these fields are somewhat different from those existing elsewhere.
