Study on Microstructure Evolution of Tube in Hydroforming

Tube hydroforming is an advanced manufacturing technology for machining hollow components and realizing lightweight structure. In order to understand the hydroforming technology more thoroughly, combined with the research progress at home and abroad, the microstructural evolution of tube in hydroforming was systematically analyzed and summarized. Firstly, the microstructure of the specimens formed under different microcosmic testing methods was analyzed, and the evolution law of microstructure evolution during tube hydroforming was summarized. Then, the characteristics of crack and fracture morphology of the failure specimens were analyzed from the micro level, and the formation mechanism and influencing factors of tube fracture were summarized. Through the analysis and summary of the micro-forming mechanism in the plastic forming process of tube in recent years, useful reference for the development of the tube hydroforming technology will be provide.
