Abstract:

Overhead conductor is the most important equipment material of transmission line. It works in the natural environment for a long time. Its performance and life are restricted by the environment, and the influence of environmental corrosion on conductor is the most obvious. To understand the Corrosion-proof steel core characteristics of high-anticorrosive conductors suitable for coastal and high pollution areas, the accelerated comparative tests of steel core corrosion between aluminium clad steel wire, Zn-5% A1-Re alloy coated steel wire and galvanized steel wire were carried out. The results show that, after 1000 hours of neutral salt spray corrosion, the galvanized layer of galvanized steel wire almost disappeared, and obvious corrosion acceleration occurred, the aluminum clad steel wire was only corroded on the outer layer of aluminium, Zn-5% A1-Re alloy coated steel wire were only corroded on the surface layer, and the transition layer was not corroded. All of them have strong corrosion resistance, and the overall corrosion resistance is better than the galvanized layer of galvanized steel wire.
