Abstract:

The article considers two factors of the energy efficiency of the technical insulation system, namely the operational stability of thermal insulation products and the reduction of energy costs for their manufacture, these are the subject of research described in the article. The results of testing technological measures aimed at improving the energy efficiency of insulation systems for technical objects, and, in particular, pipelines for hot water and heat supply, are considered. A feature of the technology of multi-wool cylinders is that a raw wound product is pre-formed from a mineral wool carpet, which is then subjected to heat treatment. The mineral wool cylinder is heated by suction of the coolant through the carpet layer, followed by curing of the binder. When using a binder, the curing of which takes place in the temperature range 130-140 °C, it becomes possible to optimize the heat treatment parameters aimed at increasing the uniformity of the curing of the binder in the product and directly reduce energy costs. Based on the research results, an algorithm has been developed, a computer program has been compiled and tested to select the heat treatment parameters taking into account the properties of mineral fibers, a binder and a mineral wool carpet.
