The Measurements of the Parameters of Road Lighting - Theory and Practice

The luminance method applied while assessing the quality of lighting for the roads, mainly for motor traffic, with movement speed ranging from average to high, was described in this article. The main part of the article refers to the issue of taking measurements of luminance distribution on the roads. The measurements taken on the expressway were presented and probable causes of differences between the results of the project and results of the measurements were described.
