Hardware-in-the-loop Simulation System for Process Control

As the core of the control link of the offshore oil production, the central control system is in urgent need of its performance reliability testing. In this paper, a new kind of hardware-in-the-loop simulation system is proposed for performance measurement of central control system. The simulation of the system through the analog control box to simulate the analog signal to the production process conditions, it uses Profibus bus, RS485 bus, TCP / IP bus and other multi-bus technology to ensure that the simulation model and system hardware, it can realize the real-time monitoring of the parameters of the simulation system platform equipment, but also simulate the operation and signal of industrial field devices, providing a more realistic control simulation environment for the central control system.
