A Jacobi Based Method for Calculating the Steady State Characteristics of Non-Linear Circuit Elements

Typical power electronics for inductive power transfer systems consist of both linear and non-linear elements. For analysing the electric system, it is essential to calculate the characteristics of currents and voltages, which can get complex at the non-linearities. This paper presents a method based on the Jacobi iterative method, enhanced by an adaptation of state variables and combined with a frequency analysis in every step. This way, the periodic characteristics at non-linear elements can be computationally calculated with low effort. The proposed method has been validated by comparison with electric circuit simulator results.
