The implementation scheme and key technologies of the space-borne terahertz high-speed transmission system

According to the great demand for space communications in our country and higher requirements in the new situation of space communication technology. In this paper, we present the implementation scheme and key technologies of the space-borne terahertz transmission system: Based on SiGe BiCMOS technology, a reconfigurable receiver of low noise and high sensitivity based on super heterodyne reception is proposed. The realization of high speed modulation and transmission of high data rate is pointed out. It is possible to achieve a single chip with a multi-frequency band of terahertz communication and the whole scheme also supports multiple waveform coding and complex modulation. This provides a feasible plan for the development of the space industry in China.
