Passivity assessment of fractional circuits basic model for smart device in W-domain

Fractional circuits have attracted extensive attention of scholars and researchers for their superior performance and potential applications. Most of smart devices can be model as fractional order linear time invariant systems. As is known to all, passivity of circuit is important for smart device modeling. However there is no effective method for assessment passivity of the basic model of smart devices. To address this issue, we discuss the passive criteria of fractional circuits with rational order elements based on s-W transformation. And the applications of passive criteria in smart devices modeling are shown in detail.
